About the meeting
Join our fete subcommittee for an in-person planning session as we bring together our school community to organise this year’s fete. This is a working meeting where we’ll continue our planning that we’ve built upon throughout the year. Whether you’re a returning volunteer or keen to get involved for the first time, your ideas and energy are welcome. Come along to help shape a fun, safe, and successful day for our students, families, and wider community.

Get ready for a day of non-stop fun at the Yeronga State School Fete on Saturday 22 August 2026, 11am to 6pm, there’s something for every member of the family! Thrill-seekers can ride all day long on the Tornado, Hurricane, Pirate Viking Ship, Tea Cup and Saucer and the Jumbo Slide, while the little ones will love the Bluey Inflatable Fun Factory, Crazy Combi and the ever-popular Petting Zoo, all of which are included in one $25 All-Day Ride Pass! Test your skills in Sideshow Alley with the Laughing Clowns and a whole line-up of carnival games, then refuel at the feast of flavours on offer! From the sizzling P&C BBQ, hot chips, Dagwood dogs and sushi to sweet treats like fairy floss, popcorn, slushies and ice cream. Hungry for more? Our incredible food trucks are rolling in too, with barista coffee from Roxspresso, authentic Latin American tacos from My Latino Fusion, and sweet and savoury French crêpes from J’adore Les Crêpes. With market stalls, a bake sale, a chillout café, live entertainment and a bar to keep the grown-ups happy, the day builds to a spectacular fireworks finale, with every single dollar raised goes straight back into supporting our wonderful students at Yeronga State School!
